Created in 1960, the Center of Economic and Social Studies of West Africa (CESAO) is a non- governmental organization specialized in training and which has evolved to support-accompaniment such as advice, action-research, training. CESAO organizes international meetings and workshops on development topics. It also provides support to facilitating travels of farmers and executives. Its activities cover countries in West Africa (Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Chad, Niger, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin). Since 1991, CESAO proposes a collaborative mode with the aim of strengthening famer's organizations to promote self-empowerment of rural populations. It promotes global participatory sustainable development and values of non-discrimination based on religion, race, philosophical or political opinions.

Innovative Co-operative for Optimal Nutrition (ICON) is created by African social entrepreneurs to accelerate the consumption, production and trade of local highly nutritious food products.
Building on the member entrepreneurs' businesses & networks, ICON leverages their innovations with the aim of achieving a larger collective economic and social impact on nutrition in Africa.
In addition to producing fresh and processed food products including different types of enriched flour, dried fruits and nuts, ICON also promotes bio-fortified seeds and organic fertilizers.
ICON provides training, business coaching and awareness-raising services targeting rural youth, female farmers and young agripreneurs.

Created in 2017, Community Actions for Integral Development is a non- profit organization based in Burkina Faso.
CAID has 100 active members. Its MISSION is to promote and support social development efforts and economic population empowerment.
Its VISION is to achieving an equitable and prosperous society where women and men work together to meet their needs. It targets the vulnerable population particularly women, youth and children.
CAID is guided by an integrated development approach at the community level in the following areas:
Public Health, Education and Training, Management of Natural Resources and Entrepreneurship.

Burkinabe Movement for Human and Peoples' Rights (MBDHP).
Missions, vision and strategy: The fundamental mission of the MBDHP is to promote and protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, by working to widen the areas of freedom favoring the participation of the populations in the political, economic and social development of Burkina.
To do this, it uses various means depending on the circumstances: awareness raising, mediation, denunciation, coalition, petition, advocacy, legal and judicial aid, advice, etc.
Usual areas of intervention: in accordance with its triple mission of promotion, protection and defense of human rights, the MBDHP intervenes in the following areas:
- Promotion of a culture of tolerance and peaceful and harmonious coexistence;
- Conflict prevention and management;
- Legal aid and judicial assistance to victims of human rights violations;
- Monitoring, documentation and reporting of cases of human rights violations;
- Citizen monitoring;
- Advocacy for the improvement of the human rights situation.
Area of intervention: The MBDHP is present throughout the national territory through forty-five (45) sections of Burkina Faso, a hundred sub-sections at the level of departments and sectoral and village committees at the community level.

New Dawn University
“A center of excellence for training and research in Africa”
Aube Nouvelle University (U-AUBEN) was created in 1992. It is the first private university in Burkina Faso;
It is organized on two (02) campuses, Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso, it includes:
- Four (04) Training and Research Units (UFR): Science and Technology, Economics and Management Sciences, Legal and Political Sciences, Literature – Languages and Human Sciences;
- Three (3) Institutes: Higher Institute of Computing and Management (ISIG), Institute of Communication, Journalism, Audio-Visual and Cinema Professions (IMCJAC);
- Forty-eight (48) Training courses and
- A doctoral school.
It has several laboratories for good practical training: Laboratory of Applied Biological Sciences, Laboratory of Civil Engineering and Geology and Mines, Laboratory of Computer Science and Laboratory of Architecture;
It leads two centers of American Culture: the American Language Center (ALC), and the American Corner (AC);
It maintains numerous partnerships at the national, regional and international levels (Africa, Europe, America, Asia) in order to facilitate the continuation of your training
U-Auben
The Institute for Research on Applied Sciences and Technology (IRSAT).
The institute has its headquarters in Ouagadougou and since 2000 a regional office for the West in Bobo-Dioulasso.
Reporting to the National Center for Scientific and Technical Research, the Institute is a specialist whose role is to carry out development research activities in the four technical fields which are:
- Energy: new, renewable and conventional energies;
- Agricultural mechanization, post-harvest and processing;
- Natural plant, animal and mineral substances;
- Food technology: quality, technologies for preserving and processing food products, conditioning and packaging.
Among the flagship results, the institute is recognized, among other things, for the mechanization, design and production of processing equipment.
IRSAT
The ‘’Société d'Exploitation de Produits Alimentaires’’ (SODEPAL) is an anonymous company which is one of the main agri-food companies. Created on December 23rd, 1991 in Burkina Faso, SODEPAL specializes in the production of a varied range of food products favoring local foods enriched with vitamins made from cereals for the weaning of children and people suffering from nutritional deficiencies, the pastry, the bakery and the biscuit factory. Its products are marketed in supermarkets, food shops, pharmacies and nutritional centres, in national and regional markets in West Africa and beyond. In 2006, SODEPAL won the "World Bank" prize at the regional fair. SODEPAL is a founding member of the Federation of Food Industries of Burkina Faso (FIAB), which brings together food industry professionals from more than 150 individual companies and associations. In 2010, these professionals decided to join forces through the organization of Agri-food These three initiatives were established under the leadership of Mrs Simone Zoundi, a pioneer woman who strongly believes that Africa can feed itself by promoting its very rich and varied natural products.
