Created in 1960, the Center of Economic and Social Studies of West Africa (CESAO) is a non- governmental organization specialized in training and which has evolved to support-accompaniment such as advice, action-research, training. CESAO organizes international meetings and workshops on development topics. It also provides support to facilitating travels of farmers and executives. Its activities cover countries in West Africa (Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, Chad, Niger, Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Togo, Benin). Since 1991, CESAO proposes a collaborative mode with the aim of strengthening famer's organizations to promote self-empowerment of rural populations. It promotes global participatory sustainable development and values of non-discrimination based on religion, race, philosophical or political opinions.
Innovative Co-operative for Optimal Nutrition (ICON) is created by African social entrepreneurs to accelerate the consumption, production and trade of local highly nutritious food products.
Building on the member entrepreneurs' businesses & networks, ICON leverages their innovations with the aim of achieving a larger collective economic and social impact on nutrition in Africa.
In addition to producing fresh and processed food products including different types of enriched flour, dried fruits and nuts, ICON also promotes bio-fortified seeds and organic fertilizers.
ICON provides training, business coaching and awareness-raising services targeting rural youth, female farmers and young agripreneurs.
Created in 2017, Community Actions for Integral Development is a non- profit organization based in Burkina Faso.
CAID has 100 active members. Its MISSION is to promote and support social development efforts and economic population empowerment.
Its VISION is to achieving an equitable and prosperous society where women and men work together to meet their needs. It targets the vulnerable population particularly women, youth and children.

Missions, vision and strategy: The fundamental mission of the MBDHP is to promote and protect the rights and freedoms of citizens, by working to widen the areas of freedom favoring the participation of the populations in the political, economic and social development of Burkina.
To do this, it uses various means depending on the circumstances: awareness raising, mediation, denunciation, coalition, petition, advocacy, legal and judicial aid, advice, etc.

The ‘’Société d'Exploitation de Produits Alimentaires’’ (SODEPAL) is an anonymous company which is one of the main agri-food companies. Created on December 23rd, 1991 in Burkina Faso, SODEPAL specializes in the production of a varied range of food products favoring local foods enriched with vitamins made from cereals for the weaning of children and people suffering from nutritional deficiencies, the pastry, the bakery and the biscuit factory. Its products are marketed in supermarkets, food shops, pharmacies and nutritional centres, in national and regional markets in West Africa and beyond. In 2006, SODEPAL won the "World Bank" prize at the regional fair. SODEPAL is a founding member of the Federation of Food Industries of Burkina Faso (FIAB), which brings together food industry professionals from more than 150 individual companies and associations. In 2010, these professionals decided to join forces through the organization of Agri-food These three initiatives were established under the leadership of Mrs Simone Zoundi, a pioneer woman who strongly believes that Africa can feed itself by promoting its very rich and varied natural products.
